Eowyn was cool, but Frodo was the best! The look on his face when he turned around at the end, when he decided to keep the Ring... that was freakin' AWESOME!

Gimli is totally the best, he has some of the best lines. There was that one before they were going to the Gates of Mordor, and he says something to the effect of..
"Certian death, little chance of success, what are we waiting for!"
That cracked me up, or the line after Legolas takes down the Elephant, and he goes..
"That still counts as one!"
Haha, that was also sweet. Now the lines aren't the funniest, but the way he says them, perfect.

John Rhys-Davies (sp? ) has an awesome accent Just finished re-watching Pirates, and comparing Orlando Bloom's Legolas with his Will Turner. I can't wait till Troy comes out so we can see if he's as good as a Grecian warrior as he is an Elf or a pirate.

Ya, that'll be cool.... Isn't Sean Bean (Boromir) in Troy too? And Brad Pitt, but who cares about him?

Yeah, I think so. Some people'd say "Who cares about Sean Bean?" but those are the Boromir-haters. Stupid people.
Aaaaanyway... yeah, I'm looking forward to Troy.

I've seen RotK three times. And the first time was the best. Well... I guess it depends on the part...
As a lover of the elves and such, I was always watching for Legolas. I think I enjyed the trio, more than I enjoyed Frodo and Sam. I still think Frodo is an anime heroine... -_-;;
But Aragorn's speech before the battle of the Black Gates? That was awesome! I wish I could remember all of it. "There will come a day when the we will forsake our friends, and the bonds of fellowship will fail, but it is not this day! There will come a day when the race of men will fall, but it is not this day! This day, we fight!"
*sigh*
And I admit! I cried at the end...

Cried? I didn't think of the end as being that sad... not if you've read the books. Have you?

Well, it was one of those movies that I couldn't figure out if I was crying for joy, or sadness... It was really odd. Also, I could have been sad that the whole thing is over, you know?
And no, sadly I haven't. People keep telling me to read them... but it seems that the more that people pressure me the more I put reading them off... ^^;;
But I don know the end, vaguely. I know that Gimli and Legolas were supposed to sail off into the sunset together... XD

Gimli & Legolas? Ummm... *I* don't recall that being the books. Do you, Valyn? Sounds like you've been reading a bitty bit too much slash, Shade. No offense or anything. Basically, anyone who isn't a hobbit, a dwarf or a human, sails off at the end; all the elves, Gandalf, and Frodo go to the Grey Havens. Arwen stays and marries Aragorn, of course (that's actually the only time she's mentioned in the books) and she sails off to join the other elves after he dies. Sam gets married, blah de blah, then at the end of his life he sails off to the Grey Havens as well, to join Frodo (making the slashers very happy)

Hmm... I haven't read the books, but my friends have. They all say that Legolas and Gimli build a boat together and then sail to the Grey Havens.

Well, your friends are crazy slashers then.
(Personally, I've never been able to figure out the Gimli/Legolas people... kinda squicky if you ask me)

-_-;; I agree with you... I want Legolas straight. because that means he is going to step off the screen and sweep me off my feet. XD Lol.
Or, I can see Aragorn/Legolas (Even though I think that, although Arwen has a face like pudding in the movie, she and Aragorn are good together.).

How ironic... I wanted Legolas gay for the same reason!
(actually, no. J/k. I'm pretty happy with Jake. Except when he goes on and on about Elijah Wood... gonna have to have a talk about this)

Eh, there are a few women I would shag in a heart beat, but most of them are fictional. Like, with no one protraying them even. Straight out of a book. But, we won't go into that.
And is it just me, or is Frodo and Anime heroine?
